Dirty Dan, electro/house producer hailing from Queens, NY, has spent the past decade honing his style: a fusion between electronic music and popular mainstream. Dan's mash-ups and remixes have been featured on radio stations from NY to LA, and his electronic shows have been featured on stations in the United States, Europe and Asia. Dirty Dan also hosted his own college radio show "Rhythmic Alchemy" on THE EDGE in Anchorage, Alaska for four years, alongside a weekly podcast - "DIRTY DAN'S PODCAST on iTUNES" reaching thousands of listeners from across the globe.
Dirty Dan is currently one half of "ALS Whores", a manifestation of Dirty Dan and AG, a producer from Los Angeles. They teamed up to create electro mainstream remixes, bringing hits from the underground combined with hits from the radio. These two have reworked tracks from Lady GaGa, Ludacris, Gorilla Zoe, Pitbull and many more. ALS Whores remixes are being played by Top 40 and electro DJs in bars and clubs all across the U.S.
Dirty Dan also has a deeper side, having produced solo tracks such as "Faded Horns" and stellar remixes of Paul Gasille's "Housecall" and Alex J's "White Smile", on Underphunk Digital U.K. Dirty Dan's tracks have been gaining respect from DJs like Bit Crushers, Armin Van Buuren, Greg Desty, D-Phrag, Raymundo Rodriquez, Derek Howell and Scott Harrington. In 08' he also remixed "I'm Going to Give You What You Want" by the Italian duo Blow Up (Time/Rise), touching his more classic side with a garage style disco remix. It was a favorite amongst the indie and nu-disco circuits.
As a DJ, Dirty Dan has headlined in clubs all across the U.S and Mexico. He is a regular at ‘Burning Man’ and ‘WMC', destroying the dance floors everywhere he goes. Dirty Dan’s genre bending blends, along with his infectious style of mixing, and an arsenal of live effects has proven to be crowd pleaser. His technical skills as a House DJ and the beat juggling/cut styles of a Hip-Hop DJ mesh together to bring a hybrid form of club music for a new generation.
